Unexpected Compliment

So, I know this is going to sound a little self-serving, but I just ran into a guy that used to work on the same floor as me, moved out of state and now is back in town, but working on a different floor. I have not worked with him a lot, but we have had a few conversations--both work and nonwork-related. Anyway, as we were going through security in our building, he turned, looked at me and said:

"Kodie, you are a good person."

I have no idea where that comment came from, but it has lifted my whole day! The funny thing is, I have always thought the same thing about him. Now I know why.
